MODELLING TIPS AND TRICKS PART 2

Right... Been busy and have not been into the blog scene recently however, during my bored time i have discovered a very weird effective way to practice your angles.

During my younger days, being narcissistic is a taboo, now, its an IN thing. So dont be shy to love yourself, pamper and experiment.

Now what I am really blogging about now is a simple tip on how to practice your angles --- especially on a beauty department. What me need a webcam! Yes, right a webcam... your pc or mac might have one in already so have bashing go!

Start by taking a picture of yourself on front

chinned up

bowing down

profile left chinned up

profile right chinned up

NOW -- Which angle best suits your features, and flatters your face?
TRY THIS NEXT ONE...

Now Take a shot of you straight on camera

Clinch your jaw

Raise your eybrows a little, stretch the side muscles of your eyes
the open your eyes a bit - TENSION in the eyes

NOW LETS PLAY WITH THE FLESH OF THE CHEEKS, LIPS AND THE NOSE LINES

Start by taking a shot straight front

vacuum your cheeks in so youll cheek bones will be pushed out as shown below

then apply tension to the eyes

make sure to balance your lips so that you dont get that fish lip look

now am exaggerating here, it makes me laugh too, but for the bloody sake of education:
bubble your nasal passages and push your nose line in to create a line of the nose thats the light
catches straight forward.

to finish it up... dont forget to chicken your neck.

NOW! When you know your angles and the shape of your face, applying tension -
you can combine those to make an interesting look.

Another way to cheat is to play with your hands, covering your ugliest assets.
Though you shouldnt cover it all the time you are shooting, the photographers or editors will
probably pick the images, the least display your ugliest assets.

pimples on the face perhaps.

large forehead?

create a sharp eyes - for an interesting look
combining the hidding technique with your best angle to give you a sharp face
showing cheekbones and jawlines...

or merely supporting your neck to line your features, this style even appears to
give you an even more longer neck.

So i would suggest, that you guys should study yourselves - so when you do your photoshoots, you know what you look like when you perform the above activity -- gives you an idea of what looks best on you too.
